Chalet Les Iles is located in the little hamlet of Les Isles on the way to Argentiere in the upper end of the Chamonix valley. Argentiere is a 3-minute drive as well as the largest ski area Les Grands Montets from where experienced skiers can ski all the way back to the chalet when snow conditions allow. Chamonix centre is a 10-minute drive and the cross-country tracks and walking paths pass by just outside the chalet. The lovely nursery slopes of Les Chosalets are located a 15-minute walk from the chalet 

(3 minutes by car) – a perfect area for children to learn how to ski or go tobogganing. Geneva airport is a 1- 1.5 hour drive
